Proper method of brake bleeding
Would it just be best to get my hands on a mittyvac and a brake hose attachment and just vaccum the brakes? I'm sick of the multiple methods that are posted on this site.
Everyone seems to follow several methods. Some say do the left rear, right rear, left front, right front, then ABS. Some say left rear, right rear, rear abs, left front, right front, right abs. Some say ABS, then the left rear, right rear, etc etc.
So which friggin method is it?
Also.. when bleeding the rear brakes. Barely any fluid comes out at all when bleeding them. I helped a friend bleed his today and for the first few pumps, then I opened the bleeder to release the pressure.. and nothing came out. After the third time dirty fluid began to pour out.

I also noticed that the rear brakes will not flow much fluid after the bleeder is loosened. Why is that? The last time I bleed my brakes I also changed the front calipers. During the caliper install the fluid in the resivouir section for the front brakes drained all the way down (dry). Anyway, when I started bleeding at the rear, this time tones of fluid flowed when the bleeder was opened. Fluid flush was quick and easy. After bleeding the front I returned to the rear and repeated bleeding the rear calipers. Again now that the front calipers had fluid, very little fluid flowed from the rear calipers.

From what I've read.. the pressure bleeding method is the best way to bleed the brakes. The mityvac does vacuum bleeding. There's another product from a company called Motive Products. It's called the Power Bleeder. It hooks up to the reservoir and pressure bleeds the brakes that way.
What would the people here recommend? Mityvac or the Power Bleeder?
