Which Pushrods for crane gold non-sa roller rockers?
I have about 300 miles on my new motor. I am really starting to wonder if something is not right in thev alvetrain though. My RR's are soo loud. If i stand anywhere near the front half of the car i can hear them. I can hear them inside the car with all the windows rolled up. People can hear them when i drive slowly by.
Are they supposed to be this loud?
Here's my combo:
CC305
Crane Gold non-sa 1.6RR
Comp Springs
Comp Lifters
Hardend guidplates
Comp hardend pushrods.
No i know you are really suposed to use a adjustable pushrod to find exactly what lenght you need. Well i kinda skipped this step.
I used comp CCA-7808-16 which is described for 1987-1997 305-350 withroller cam. (doesn' say anything about LT1 though)
Do you think this could be my problem? I have had them adjusted twice and the stay quiet for a few days and then get louder again.
What do you guys think

well i don't really know exactly what lenght the ones i have are. I guess 7.200
I noticed in th esummit catalog that trick flow list 2 different pushroods for this application.
a 7.200 for std small chevy with OE roller
then they list a 7.300 for std chevy withe comp hyd .roller
I have a comp hyd roller a cc305 to be exact? But with the different springs and all i guess i need to get an adjustalb pushrod and check it.
Tell me if you guys had problems with this.
thanks
