Question about Canton pan and sensor

I purchased a Canton 242T pan for my stroker motor Im building. And I am curious if the stock low oil sensor will still work on this pan or do I just delete it out?

it has a hole in the factory spot for the low oil sender, I deleted mine and put a oil temp in its place.

I have this pan on my stroker set up. You must use a thread sealant on the oil sender or it WILL leak! BTW- having 383 cubes has nothing to do with fitment issues.

you know the low oil sender should have a washer on there that has rubber on it?

Wrap the sender and the wiring harness with some heat tape. It will be CLOSE to the header if you're using long tubes.
And don't be suprised if the pan still needs clearancing. You probably will be OK with 3.75"(383) my 3.875"(396) needed more work.

I had to tap in the scraper plate a little to clear my rod bolts on the manley rods, but there bigger than most on the bottom end.

My stock sensor and Pacesetter LT's fit fine. Used thread sealant, and washer. No leak.

I used this pan on my stroker setup, the stock oil sensor fits in the same place as the stocker, it has a hole set for it. Enjoy :-)
