Question about the flanges on Pacesetter LT's....

I have 2 sets of Pacesetter LT's and the flanges on both are not quite straight.

One set is about 1/8" high in the middle of the flange
One set is about 1/8" low in the middle

Should I worry about this or is this normal? I don't want to have to do this install twice!

They came with copper gaskets too.

both of mine were about an 1/8" off on both sides, dont remember where though... they bolted up fine, and sealed. been leak free since installed a month ago.

what do you think that would cost? One of my goals was to keep this as cheap as possible which is why i went with pacesetter.

Bolt them up as they are. I haven't seen any header that would align perfect, the dimentions on the cars are not perfect anyways.

It will be alot cheaper than bleeding knuckles and blown header gaskets.
Don't forget these cars are a BASTARD to put headers on, so take a little extra time and make sure your flanges are flat and spend a little extra money on your gaskets like Percy's seal for good gaskets.
A LITTLE EXTRA will save you alot later!

Mine were the same way. I took a BIG belt sander and just sanded them a touch so they were flush all across. It looked much further off than what they actually were.
