Question about flexplate and balance.

I have two fbody's. I am taking the stock short block out of my 95 M6 Trans Am and putting it into my 95 A4 Z28. Can I simply bolt the A4 Z28's flexplate to the shortblock out the Trans Am? Or is this going to create an out of balance condition?

I have an A4 and I've been down the road of replacing the flexplate, stall and soon to be tranny in about month, but I was under the impression that the flexplate used on the A4's is not the same as the flywheel used on the M6's. Might wanna check into that.

They both have a balance weight on them for the stock LT1 rotating assembly. People are doing A4->M6 swaps (and a few M6->A4 swaps) every day, simply switching out the flex-plate and flywheel.

I was also scared of this but I did it anyway without asking, and yeah, no problems from my recent build. smooth as glass.
