I bought the SLP, but haven't installed it yet. I would guess there isn't a dime's worth of difference amongst any of them from a performance standpoint. Get the one you like the best. Personally, I thought the SLP had a higher cool factor.

Mine had the SLP on it when I bought it. Out of the CAI's I have seen I think the SLP looks better under the hood than the others. The only thing I don't like is having to remove, clean, and reinstall two filters instead of one.

Thats cool you live in Kansas, I used to live In Hutchinson for 2 years... Can you give me a link for the Lingenfelter C.A.I. That would be awesome...

just because the filter is bigger doesnt mean the engine will need to suck up the extra air a bigger filter will give. there was an article on the subject about 10 years ago in carb setups and the larger filters sometimes hurt performance but most of the time didnt make a lick of difference.

theres an article floating around on here comparing all of the different CAIs, look back around august of 07 IIRC, because thats when i bought mine. I went with the lingenfelter because it was the most proven.

Arizona speed and marine and Moroso IMHO is the best due to the metal tube that the filter clamps to. It allows you to torque the filter down so it will not fall off. K&N is total crap due to the plastic tube. Both of these do NOT require removing the bottom panel in order to access the filter.
I have the AS&M now and am very happy with it. I have also had the Moroso which is a lot cheaper. Cant go wrong with either of these.

i have an slp on my car now and am not a big fan, it doesn't fit that well, it's not even held on by a bolt, it just slides into a spot i'm assuming that the stock air box fit in, it's a pain to get in or out (might be because of the tf elbow too), and i've always been taught that one large pipe will out flow dual smaller pipes, so keep that in mind too!

Seems like the Lingenfelter is becoming the overwhelming winner in this after all....
