question on a adjustment on my window

well I was adjusting my windows. The passenger side came out good, but when i went over to do the drivers side I went to adjust the stop limit and there isnt like a bolt there to adjust it.. here is a pic so you know what im talking about. The thing is actually the window goes up too high so I wanted to move it down a hair.

Looks like you need the stop and stop screw. You could use something homemade or go to a boneyard to pick up what you need. You can get the screw from GM (GM PART # 11503938 ), but they don't sell the stop unless you buy a whole channel.

There are pics and adjustment procedures for the window on my Tech Page.

well I took some pics so you can see how its sealing..the drivers side doesnt look to well cause of the stop screw being messed up but tell me what ya think and how bad it looks...sorry on the quality of the pics.

Drivers side:

Passenger side:

it rained pretty hard today so I was kinda able to test it...none of the carpet was wet this time but the drivers side rear seat had a little area of it being dripped on so I dont know.

You can't tell how tight the seal is from a pic. As long as the glass rests at least midway on the weatherstrip (you can generally see where it is supposed to be), there is no wind noise or leaking and the window is not excessively binding anywhere, you should be good to go.

Adjusting the window is tedious and small adjustment can make a big difference. One adjustment can also affect another, so take your time and check all parts of the window as you adjust.

I hate to kinda use your post.. just while we are on the subject.... My driver window jumps back alittle when you first push the button to go down(kinda goes on an angle) then as it gets lower it straightens out... Meses up my tint also.. kinda making me mad!!!
