Questions about changing from V6 Engine to LT1 in V6 Camaro. What is involved in this

Hi Guys!

a friend of mine has a V6 Camaro and wants to put in an LT1 in it what do you have to change?

Can you still use the same transmission?

What about the wiring harness?

alot of work

need new tranny,engine, computer, springs

by the time youpay for all of this, and the labor included, its cheaper to buy a cheap V8 car. I have seen them ffrom 3k and up.
