Questions about handling/suspension mods
Hey everyone. My name is Jeremy. I've been browsing this forum for probably 6 months and just now became a member. I don't own a Z or a T/A yet but I hope to soon! My previous car was an old school RX-7 that had alot of suspension mods. It was a fun car for the twisties but just lacked raw power. I've always loved the sound and power that comes from american muscle cars! But I know most don't handle incredibly well. I just wanted to know what can be done to an F-body to make it handle better. I want a car that can be fast at the strip but also stick to the road and really hug the turns.
Thanks,
Jeremy
Anyone with an M6 for sale in the 805 let me know!

my brother autocrosses his Z28 and is very competitive overall in a group ranging from stock hondas to fully modded datsuns. he is a great driver, but far from pro. he would often get FTD on the faster mini-sprint courses. simple mods: firehawks, eibach progressive springs, and track-friendly alignment specs = a very respectable handler. ...and the surplus of hp helps

I can tell you this, with suspension on a Camaro,Trans Am or any other sports car it will stick to the ground. You will also gain some traction with suspension mods, and stiffin up the body of the car.
To make a F Body handle better you can get.... Adj. Pan Hard bar, LCA's,Torque Arm, ADJ. Shocks, springs,A Arms, K member loose the sway barfor launches or replace it, Anti roll bar, and of course strut tower brace,SFC's and a roll bar helps out a great deal. hopw this helps.
