Questions on building a 10 bolt rearend

Were is the best place to get parts for the best price? I need a rearend now and i am gonna rebuild it myself but I need to know the parts I need and were to get them?
I have a 3 series carrier and a set of 3:42 gears and a T/A cover already. What I need is to know what is the strongest bearing kit and what else do I need. I was told to use a solid washer and to have the axle tubes weilded. Does anyone have any pics and info about the tubes and what needs to be done to them?
The rearend I am rebuilding is a 97 that came with a 3:23 and it works fine it just started roaring so I swapped it out. Now its time to rebuild it.
Please don't say save up for a 12 bolt because it ain't happening.lol
Thanks Alan

For the parts if you want new the best place Ive found is Summit. They offer a Ratech bearing and install kit that comes with just about everything you need and Quality Timken brgs. You can also get the Solid spacer instead of using the crush colar.... ~$18.

Weld teh tubes to the housing... just as it sounds. The axle tubes and not part of the "pumpkin", so weld them together so the tubes can not move. That, along with the parts you already have, will beef up a 10 bolt pretty good. Considering the price is reasonable if you put it all together yourself.

I did the same thing. Bought a used stock rear for $100 and "beefed" it up. Total cost was just over $300 and so far its still holding up ok.
