Read all the Pacesetter LT threads, still have questions

I want to install a set of LT's and Y-Pipe. What else do I need? Do I have to get Pacesetters with emissions provisions or both versions have an o2 provision? Do I need o2 extensions?
I know they're slip-fit, do they need welding at all?

Thanks, I know you guys are probably tired of hearing about them,
Keith

Both version have places for the oxygen sensors. I would get the race version if you dont have to worry about passing sniffer test. The LT's come with all you need to install them as far as having them welded I wouldn't.

You will need 02 extensions. Some paceSetters come with 02 extensions, but all that is is a roll of wiring and some quick connects. Most of the f body shops sell clip in 02 extensions. They come with 02 bungs. race version = no emission hook ups. Buy a header gaskets, the ones they come with are junky paper. Felpro/mr gasket are both good.

The slip fits work ok, but i would also suggest buying band clamp type clamps from summit. They are about 10 bucks apiece, but will give you better clearence than the U bolt type clamps they supply. Make sure you get the band clamps for slip fit tubes, not butt connections.

You will need to cut a tad off your catback system, as the Y pipe goes back torwards the rear of the car more than the stock one. You will need a band clamp for that connection, or have it welded (clamp not supplied for it).

The 3 inch stainless slip style clamps are summit part num: WLK-33272, 8.50 apiece.

2.5 inch cat back system? Any 3 inch to 2.5 will work... something like WLK-41973
