On a 93 you guys can just jump two pins and then count the flashs right? What pins do you jump? And just wanting to make sher, the codes on the obd1 are more less the same on the obd2 right? Any help would be great. My friend's 93 through a code and ive never pulled a code off a 93 before. Im just use to useing my scan tool on my 96.

OBD1 and OBD2 are totally different as far as reading codes, OBD2 can't even be jumped.

I beleive it is the A and B terminal you jump to read the code, look in your manual or a chilton's to be sure though. If I remember right, it will be the two top right terminals on the DLC.

All you have to do is count the number of flashes, then you'll have your first digit, there will be a pause then it will flash again, that will be your second digit. It will only be a 2 digit code with OBD1.

Hope this helps, If not, feel free to e-mail me!

OBD2 is a 5 digit code, where OBD1 is a 2 digit code....like a 23 or 14 or somthing

OBD2 will have letters and numbers like a PO265 or somthing
