Question Rearend Help Please

OK HERES THE PROBLEM FOLKS . . .MY REAR END IS LEAKING OIL IN THE FRONT WHERE THE A ARM AND DRIVE SHAFT CONNECTS WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ???IS THERE A SEAL THERE???AND SHOULD I FIX IT MYSELF . . OR WILL IT BE TO DIFFICULT???THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT WHAT I HAD TO SAY . .

yes.. its called the pinon seal.. the driveshaft goes into the differential housing not a arm.
Remove the drive shaft the and mark the the current posistion so it goes back on teh same way.
You'll need a big socket to remove the pinion nut... like a 33mm or something 34mm maybe?
then pull out the old seal and evenly press in the new one.. I'd use another socket to press the new one in..
make sure u find out the torque specs so not to over tighten or under tighten anything...
not a difficult job.

is the pinion seal the only thing that can be leaking?

when i downshift into 2nd or 1st my rear end start to wind and sometimes squek . .that meens im gettin real low in my rear end oil right??or can it be something else??

its not leaking on the back where the housing at . . all the oil isin the front on the a-arm. . .what can it be?

he already told you it is your pinion seal. Fix it and be done with it.
