I have posted this before, but still no luck. I'm giving it another try.

I have a 97 Z28 conv. right above the rearview mirror (connected)there is this digital compass, and temp reading. It seams like the battery went out or something.. I have not been able to find where it is. Or don't even know if that is what's wrong.

Does anyone have or has had this problem?

Sounds like you'll have to replace the whole windshield.

Thats not the orinigal rear view mirror....camaros & firebirds never came with temperature or compass displays..

Whoever replaced the original one with that one didnt wire it up..
