Reason for ABS light?

The ABS light is remaining on even after my previous alternator grounding problem is resolved. I've checked all connections that I could find and the fluid is full. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes in an attempt to clear the computer. I also flashed the codes w/ the good old paper clip trick and it shows nothing. Should it flash something w/ the light on? Any ideas or suggestions on what to check next?
TIA

check your voltage.when my alternator was cable seal was messed up my voltage was in the hazard area and that causes your abs light to go on.

Check the voltage where?
What do you mean by "cable seal"?
I have a feeling you're on the right track. I think that these problems are still related to the alternator even though it seems to have enough of a ground since it isn't getting hot anymore.

Now a new problem...the brake light keeps flickering on and off, just like it did when I was having grounding problems w/ the alternator.

UPDATE!!

Well, this is the kind of problem I don't mind having...it has somehow corrected itself. This morning when I fired it up neither the ABS INOP or Brake light came on. That wasn't unusual since it didn't always come on instantly. The short drive to work and no lights. Drive home at lunch and still no lights. Drive home tonight and no lights. Started it up to warm the oil for yet another change and still no lights. Drove it around for about 10 minutes and no lights. I'm not sure why or what the reason is but to tell you the truth...I DON'T CARE!! Well, I don't care as long as it stays this way.
Thanks for all of the input and ideas about this problem!
