My advice would be that you NOT relocate the filter. I too have FLP's, and I tried relocating the filter, but it did nothing but waste time and money. - Not that it wasnt a good idea in theory, but the relocation kit I used still created clearance issues with the driver's side collector. It simply didn't work.
IMHO, it's much more logical to simply remove the factory oil cooler, and get a regular coolant return hose to connect between the bottom-driver's-side of the radiator and waterpump. You can then fit a regular oil filter with the headers in place, so long as you stay away from the super-high-volume filters.
The factory oil cooler is pretty much worthless -- believe me when I say you wont miss it. It does very little to help 'cool down' the oil...
