wait, the harness is in the engine compartment? i was looking into this kit and thought the harness is all in the back of the car by the tank?

The factor connection to the harness is near the tank by the wheelwell. The racetronix kit has a 10 gauge power lead that runs from the engine compartment (connects to the back of the alternator) and feeds all the way to the back of the car near the stock connection.
