It looks like more spring might possibly help but if anyone thinks a shorter pushrod can cure this problem than why not swap them in and redyno it? If there's a geometry problem then you don't want to fix it with just more spring pressure.
Very easy and simple test and then it would either show a positive result or you could go on to the next logical area of concern if the pushrod change doesn't affect it in a positive direction.
People saying however that they know what pushrod to use without knowing anything else about this engine including rocker design used and base circle and valve length etc. are simply ignorant.
Good luck and just test the pushrods at a shorter length to get it out of the way!

When I change the springs again, I am going to have the pushrods rechecked and if there is a problem and they are to long then I will change them too, so right now I don't think the pushrods are the main problem its the springs and thats becoming a very big issue here....

well the specs are 224/230 .600/.606 on a 108. It's a Brett Bauer grind cam....
And the car has been taken apart now by 4 different people. I picked the length, bluecat readjusted the preload, another guy took it apart to swap the springs out but didn't, and then another guy put another set of 1918's on and reshimmed everything. So if something was bad wrong... especially that wrong someone would have caught it. Not to mention how many times i checked and rechecked with different lengths pushrods with a epoxied stock gm lifter.

Perhaps someone would have caught it, perhaps not. My example of having an experienced engine builder that has multiple good running engines out and about....he mismeasured and got the same measurement everytime. Hey what do i know tho, I also don't understand the use of oil restricting pushrods on a HR LT1 either. No wonder you didn't get hired at CRD to work on heads, you can't even get Pushrod length correct.

As far as the CRD i just talked to Joe Mendalis (spelling) who was the cylinder head guy there, never spoke with the owner or anything so i wouldnt' call it much of an interview. And i was told they just wanted to hire someone from within...
