The rockers are from DRE Racing, VERY nice rockers.
Won't be long now, got a bunch of little stuff to do, fix the passenger valvecover, figure out a way to attach throttle cable, notch the valcecover rails yada yada yada.
Thanks for the Kudo's guys, been ALONG time coming.

Are shaftmounts required on these heads? I know some heads you have to go with shaftmount rockers. Im thinking of using these heads on a street 396 and i think shaftmounts are a bit overkill. Maybe something like a pro mag setup would be more like it.

But to answer your question, shaft rockers are not required for these heads.

Well when you invest as much as it takes for an engine to get to this point, and you are gonna street drive it, in my opinion shaft rockers are a no brainer. Making an engine like this live on the street with a solid roller is about buying the good stuff up front......hydraulic roller I would be inclined to agree with you..but I don't know many people who would build a top end like this and put in a hydraulic roller cam and regular rocker arms. Thes rockers have a .180/.180 offset, hard to get that in standard rockers. Correct valvetrain geometry means horsepower. Just my opinions here....any others please chime in.
