rim and center bore ?

Is a center bore diameter of 2 and 11/16 too small for my lt-1. I ask because I bought 4 SLP firehawk rims and want to know if Ill have to grind them out. Thank you

The problem is that the "early" 4th Gens had the rear axle hubs about 0.03" larger in diameter than the front hubs. I think they might have corrected the problem in 97 or 98. So if you try and put "late" wheels on an "early" 4th Gen, you may have to lightly sand or grind the inside diameter of the rear wheels to allow them to fit over the axle hubs. No big deal. Will not hurt anything, since the wheels are centered on the axle by the conical lug nuts, not the hubs. You might want to do the front wheels as well, so when you rotate the tires, you won't run into the same problem all over again.

I had the same problem when I put 94 Corvette 17" sawblades on my car. I just lightly filed the center bore and it fit just fine.
