I've had mine for 6 years and love them. My car is lowered and it goes on with no problems. The only thing is that I need to but them up against something or they'll slide. I had a concrete kinda smooth driveway. But definately great.

I've had mine for years also. I would say that they are just ok.
They slip forward when driving on them (as said). And also when I back onto them, my tires will spin sometimes. I actually have to get a little run at it. Maybe some grip tape would solve the problems.

I saw a suggestion of throwing a rubber floor mat under them.

Nah, they just allow you to use a more normal car ramp, and not scrape getting up on them.

the idea with the rope is simply genious,

I usually just stick them right under hte front wheels and make sure they are lined up, as long as they are you should have no problems, crap, for $20 you cant beat them. they are lightweight.

Ha! all you Rhino Ramp lovers must be skinny. I just returned mine to pepboys because they just didn't raise the car high enough for me to get under it comfortably. (especially to change the oil) My car is not lowered. I guess I'll just keep using my jack and stands. heh.

They are great once you can GET ON THEM!! Pain in the *** though, took me about 15 tries to get on them without the ramps sliding across the garage.
Sounds like you got a pair like I first did. The rubber 'thingies' werre missing and the ramps would slide all over the place. Get a pair with the rubber antiskid and all was well.

You guys obviously dont have gravel (river rock) driveways. I just got some rino's yesterday and put the car up forward and backwards today. Had to use 2x8's to get up forward with the body kit. But they didnt slide at all, makes it more fun with the rocks that can move. Especially when jacking it up and you watch the jack crush downward and hear it crackle over the rocks. It's much more fun and provides motivation for working quickly while under the car

I've never had that much of a problem with the ramps sliding around on the floor. I pull the car into the garage, put the ramps in front of the tires, kick the bejeezus out of the ramps to jam the edges under the tires, then drive up.

Brute force is your friend...use it.

I'm going to try and put an end to this thread with a summary. If you have wide tires, and you want to use ramps...Rhino's are pretty much the only choice...unless you dont mind scraping your front clip on metal ramps and squishing your tires in between the retainers. Sure the Rhino's arent perfect..but we deal with the imperfections.
