RK Sport Aluminum Driveshaft, ???'s

Anybody running one of these?

How do you like it?

Seems like its a pretty good shaft,

3"

Spicer u-joint's

It's balanced

Your Thoughts?

Depends on what you wanna do with your car. If your gonna drag race stick with a steel shaft. But if your gonna do some mild drag racing or road racing then go for an aluminum one.. Personally I would call up http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/ and get one from them. Don't pay extra money for something just cause it says RKSport on it

RK SPORT ALUM DRIVESHAFT **LINK**

Heres a link...

I got this driveshaft off ebay for 227.50 to my door..

Seems like its a great shaft for that price, over the $395 it is new from rk sport, It caught my eye because it has the splicer u-joints, a little added strength HELPS

Sounds like a decent buy. For only $299, get the 3.5" Lingenfelter DS, way stronger than the RK Sport jobber for $100 less!

Yeah I like the LPE ds too but you should be aware that a 3.5" ds and a 3" catback are both considerably larger than stock. There is about 3/8 inch of clearance between them on my car. You may have clearance problems with your exhaust.

Doesn't R sport just slap thier name on other manufacturers items? I mean it could be a GM perf Driveshaft or Inland empire and they'll just put the RK logo on it. So you still get quailty just under a different logo.

I was nodding my head, until the last sentence. I would have said "So you still get *parts*, just under a different logo"

I second with what InjectedSS has said. Try Denny's DS. You could customize it too, if you wish.

It's just that they are a big company and think that they can charge triple what stuff should normally cost just cause it says RKSport on it
