rocker stud length when using guideplates

Ok i am using GMPP guideplates with my new crane rocker arms and shoeboxs' site says you cant use the stock studs. So what length studs do I need? I know that the plates are 1/8" thick but I have been looking on summit and see 1.75 and 1.77 and up. Which are needed?

I didn't say you can't, I said I did not recommend it, because of how short the threads are on head side of the stock studs. IIRC, the ARP studs I bought were slightly longer on that side.
