Re: Running a bit rich

So has anyone on the board had any problems where something would send the car a false lean.

I know what a exhaust leak sounds like but this car does not sound like that. It seems like that car runs worse once it hits 160 degrees. Could a vacuum leak do this? The idle is good at start up and directly afterwards for 5 mins. but then starts to get bad. It recently started to do this never use to be good at all. anyone think maybe there is a sensor thats heating up and giving wrong info? I'm running out of ideas of what to check next.

I am really appreciative of the help thanks.

Nothing new to post. Other then My posi unit is on the way out. This winter I'm going to try and hunt this thing down. I'm not sure what would be sending my pcm those readings since the O2's are new unless one of my header gaskets is bad, but they do not sound like there is a leak so I'm suck scratchin my head on this one. When I get it figured out I'll let ya know right away.

mabe its something in the drivetrain. i have a rebuilt motor and my rear end is also starting to go out on me. when i was trying to go up a muddy hill i noticed only one wheel was spinning. mabe this is related somehow. i have replaced almost everything on my motor except the iac, mass air flow, and icm. oh and my tranny is also acting up. with all these problem maber its lugging the motor back or something. idk, just a thought
