I am missing the vacuum hose that goes from the opti to the intake elbow. Where can I find another one and am I hurting my opti in any way by running it this way till I can find another one?

Thats your Opti vent tube. It shouldnt hurt but get a new one just in case. Dealers should have em.

The purpose of the hose to the air intake is to provide filtered air to the opti. Without it, you might be getting some contaminants into the opti and especially you could be sucking in moisture in some circumstances.

Thanks alot guys, I will check with the dealer later on this week and see if they can order me one. I was wondering why the tube would go to the intake elbow, but when you said it was to provide filtered air that made sense.

Filtered air... and also METERED air, [ultimately going to the intake, thru the vacuum hose, from the opti..]
