Check them out.... If they are better than the PM rods I might pick them up.

If it were my motor, and I had a good set of stock rods in it already, I would not put those rods in it. Those are the cheapest Scat rod you can get and they are light-duty. They might be almost as good as a stock LT1 PM rod, hard to say with difinitively.
Those would go good with a lighter piston though but I would not say they are better than stock LT1 rods.

i was wondering the same thing about stock rods. i'm debating on putting money into my block, and was gonna use stock rods with a forged piston. i'm gonna be throwing a 175 shot at it on occasion...
my stock 96 bottom end i fed it with the same 175 wet shot daily with no issues for years.

The worst thing a bout reusing the stock rods is that you really should have them resized which is probably going to cost you $160+ where the rods MachinistOne recommended are under $300 so the savings involved in reconditioning the stock rods is not much. Especially if you go ahead and get bushed rods which saves you the cost of having the pistons pressed to the stock rods. In the end bet you save under $100.

If I was going nitrous I would keep a stock rod and spend money on a piston.
