Sealing Inlet Elbow?

My stock rubber inlet elbow has a few about 1" long cracks in it, makes a noticeable whistle when running. Is It Ok to use a sealant to seal/prevent air leaks? I ordered a Trick Flow one today, but need the car tonight. Is this gonna hurt anything ?
Thanks in advance.

i would not trust sealant, last thing you want is that stuff going into the throttle body and who knows what could happen. just drive how it is but dont go in dusty areas, just my .02

those cracks are allowing unmetered air into your engine, just find yourself a new elbow pronto

Putting some RTV on the cracks to hold you over shouldn't cause any harm.

What about the stock airflow sensor that plugs into the elbow? Do Trick Flow ones have a place to just plug that into or what ?

my plastic tube (Hennesey) was cracked. I trimed it with shears & used duct tape. Cleaned out the K&N, sprayed some carb cleaner in the TB, new PCV, and WOW, runs good.

Duct tape is probably your best bet, I've also seen some stuff thats like aluminum foil but with one side sticky, works great for fixing intake tract tears, dunno what its called though.
