Sensor On Top Of Rear End???

Sensor On Top Of Rear End???
so i thought this thing was just for abs and/or TCS?? someone said that its also used to tell the computer about the vehicle speed?? i thought thats what the VSS was for

ABS not the speed sensor the VSS is on the tailshaft of the trans.

thats what i thought! so the sensor on the rear diff has NOTHING to do with telling the computer ANYTHING about the speed of the car right!

Right only thing it does is send a signal to the ads unit.
