You need to recheck your tranny fluid. If you don't know how, the car has to be running at a idle. run it through the gears while parked and thenput it back in park, jump out and check your fluid. You might have done some damage driving it with only 2 quarts. I think the whole system holds 7.

We added two quarts when I first got it back (4 days ago). Then the ATF was barely touching the dipstick. Then yesterday I put two more quarts in after I lost third and fourth. I went through all the gears a lot of times to make sure the fluid got into all the gears, and I checked it after adding the two quarts and it was on "warm" so I left it. I still have one quart, but I don't want ot overfill it...I took out for another drive, very short, last night, I went through all the gears again (I mean from first, to second, to drive, to overdrive, neutral, etc) and I still didn't have any power in third or fourth. It just free reved in both third and fourth (I can't remember if it actually shifted into fourth or not...I might take it down the road again to find out). Now, I was told, today, that it went into default mode (or something like that) and that I will only have first and second, and they said that would explain why it shifts so solid out of first, but they said to just buy a rebuild kit...Somebody mentioned a TCI rebuild kit from summit for around $150, does anybody know a part number to that, or where I can get a cheap rebuild kit from?
