SES light on after O2 simulators installed....
I installed pacesetter LT's and deleted the cats. I drove it around for a couple of days without the O2 sims because I didn't have any and the SES light came on, so I bought and installed 2 used O2 simulators today.
I also disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and reconnected it but the SES light is still on. I thought disconnecting the battery was supposed to erase codes.
I put on about 30 miles today hoping that the computer would adjust but it didn't. Will it adjust in time?
I used the supplied wire that came with the headers to extend the front O2 sensors instead of buying extensions. The sensors have 40,000 miles on them and I soldered the wires very well. Could this be a problem? How do I find out?

I would have it scanned to see what codes are present. It very well may be something else other then the 02s. One of the codes I received after doing my long tubes was for the EGR.
