I recently pulled a set of shaft mount rockers off of a friends car after the fulcrum came apart on one of the rockers. One of the rockers wasn't tightened down as it should have been and it backed out breaking the fulcrum. I've seen cams with that lift using 1.5-1.6 roller rockers without an issue. Depends on the rpm and aggressiveness of the cam though. You may want the added assurance of shaft mount due to high rpm combined with high lift.

Is he just trying to boost sales of the competion series? or is there credibility to his statement. You have run a few of the sportsman series. Have you had any fail with nitrous or forced induction? I am buying a set and need information before I place my order. Thanks for any help!!!
Good questions. I don't have long term experience with the Jesels and customer blower motors and nitrous motors. No failures yet but I don't think there has been enough time and extreme usage on my customer motors. I should put a set on one of my personal motors for testing of this sort. (I have Cranes and T&D on my personal motors).
I'll keep close attention to the longevity of the Jesel Sportsman series.

Quick, what is the part number for the T&D rockers. Also are thier any issues with them on AFR 220 head. I have a 383 converted to carb and we are spraying 350 shot.

Thanks in advance

T&D shaft mounts here. No issues at all. I run a pretty agressive cam close to .700 lift. Ive had to re adjust the valves once after initial break in. Shift the car at 7k and drive it to the track.
