which should I get first catalytic converter or a cat back system?
I'm not much of a car mechanic and I dont know much about cars to begin with. I have a stock cat and a stock muffler which should I replace first? I have a 94 camaro. damn thing is still running, idles a little rough (still trying to figure out whats causing it to idle rought. the needle in the RPM gauge seems to waver but just barely..if that helps) theres only a few suspension parts I really want to get like a strut bar and the sub frame connecter. I just recently replaced the struts/shocks fuel filter( god knows how old the last one to begin with) it now has a KN filter (had to mod it since it wasnt even the shape of a bo...my bro gave me his KN filter for his volkswagen golf). oh by the way thanks in advance.

How many miles are ont he car? A cat is a pretty cheap item...can be had for around $50 if you get a generic non OEM one. I personally would get a new cat and a catback.
As for the rough idle - has the Optispark ever been replaced, when was the last time plugs and wires were done? Again, how many miles?
