Single Plane project finally completed...

Setup looks good! I am still in the process of putting mine together.. underestimated how much time being a new dad takes up!!
For those wondering about price FWIW for my setup the converted intake and cam was about 1800 from Bret, the TFS heads from Lloyd about 2000, and then shortblock about 3800.. then the extras about another 1000-1500, I am using a sullivans racing elbow and a BBK cobra dual 62mm throttle body to solve the tip-in problem..
Lastly add dynotuning 500..
That gets in the ballpark range for my 383..

I have heard in the past that its a bastard to tune out the tip in hesitation with the single plane / elbow setup and the stock ECU. Has anyone with this setup made any substantial finds as to what the problem is? Im seriously considering a setup like this but it loses value if im gonna have to buy a stand alone to make it livable.

Bret,
The only elbows i know of to accept the dual bore TB's are the intakeelbows.com one and the sullivan that takes a ford TB. The intakeelbows.com piece looks like it doesnt have that smooth of a transition thought. The setup with the 90mm LS1 style single bore throttle body look decent but from what i understand these are the ones with the big tip in problems. What are you getting people to use for an elbow with your setups?

has anyone tried this on a supercharged application?
Bret later on I may sell the LT4 intake and we will do another Super ViC with my Monoblade.
I see LS1 guys do the LS6 intake to Single plane swap a bit as well.
In a Gm high tech article a guy stated he gained 90RWHP from the swap.
Either way you can make 1000 hp with a LTX style intake but a Single plane would benefit.
From what I have been told Runner length does not matter but it would Flow more air to the pistons.

Thats who I was reffering too...
Steve,
I'm actually doing a that test with JonA soon. He has his 355 with LE3 heads and a custom cam (around a LE3) he is going to setup the motor with the LT1 intake first and when I can ship him off his single plane he'll test that later on, same everything but different intake. It should work just fine with that cam.
