Single Plane project finally completed...

That can't be true. The LT-1 intake IS a single plain, it just has short runners. The other reason I don't think that is possible is because there is one injector for every cylinder that injects fuel directly infront of the port. You may have been thinking if a carbed setup. I think that the AF range is in the lean/ fast range. I always shoot for mid/low 12's for AF.

with the single plane, the air enters at the center of the engine, which helps the rear cylinders.

526 SS, unfortunately, the tracks are closed for the year here, at least at IRP. I'm sure that I'll have my mid/high 10 @ 128 which is the goal on motor before the nitrous goes on the car in the spring. That being said, to justify the swap, I'm going to have to find some more power so we'll see what we can figure out over the next weeks.

all the air has to enter the plenum at the front of the LT1 intake, so the rear cylinders can get starved. another theory is that some of the cylinders that fire adjacent to one another can rob one another due to such a short runner being side by side. (i think thats how that goes)

The car ran an 11.9 @ 122mph on street tires before the swap, spinning. Given the fact that the RPM range will be between 5500-7100rpm for each gear at the track, I expect it to pick up MPH since that is where I picked up power. We'll have to see, its all bench racing right now because it will be at least 4 months before the track is open around here. I'm changing the induction around a bit this week and will be tweaking on it over the winter, but I'm still not sure where to midrange is. I don't have all my OBD2 tuning software here yet, but once I do, I'll start on the computer and see what I can figure out. The car is a hardtop WS6 6spd with AC and rear seats removed.
Dwayne, I hope I do too...

I know I am digging one up from the dead, but I saw you car at Thunder when we were dropping off a friend of mines SS convertable.
I fell in love with your car, I wanted one like yours when I bought my 94 Z and could not find one..one slick ride I must say...I even took pics of it when I was there but it had the LT4 setup on it. The A/C, power steering, alternator deal was nice!
Can you post some pics of the hood and cowl area? How tall is the elbow on the car? Did it fit under a stock WS6 hood? Can you post pics with the hood shut?
Thanks
David

David,
Thanks for the compliments. Here are a few pics in various iterations and requested photos.
BTW, if you are interested or know someone who is, I'm looking at selling it this spring.

I'm looking to get more into road racing and would like something that I could race in the Silver State Challenge and One Lap of America.
I switched from the polished valvecovers to the Pontiac valvecovers so that it would clear my T&D shaftmounts.
