SJM Alternator Relocation Bracket anyone run this?
I need to relocate my alt. and remove the a/c and ps pump to make room for exhaust tubing for my turbo setup.
Does anyone have this bracket on their car? I need a picture or two of this setup on the car I couldn't find one anywhere.
or if you know of another bracket.
thanks

If your removing the PS and AC, I suggest just making your own bracket as most relocation brackets would probably have to be tailored to your application anyways

I don't think there is going to be any type of interference issues as there really isn't to many places they can be put below. I've seen others using them with turbo setups. Only options you would have would be either on the passenger side or drivers side. SJM's go on the passenger side. Madman makes on that looks similar to theirs though SJM's is nicer (and less expensive) IMHO.
I've seen SJM's in person though don't have any pictures. You may want to e-mail them. It was in gmhightechperformance awhile back on an F-body that you could see it real good...not sure if you have their subscription.

I told you they looked the same, SJM's stuff is all made from 6061 aluminum instead of mild steel which will rust if you don't paint it. The aluminum is lighter I'd imagine and it polishes nicely or you can have it polished directly from them at less then the price they cost from madman.
I'm sure both kits you can't go wrong, both should work to be honest. SJM's is just a better deal (and Steve the owner is a real nice guy).
