Update:
Car has been running for a week now. Has a conservative tune in it at this point. My ORY doesn't fit with the new Spohn T/A w/ DS loop so I had to opt for my dual cat y-pipe. Has almost 300mi on it. I'm driving it every day to get it good and run in before the dyno runs and also waiting for a new ORY which is on backorder...
Damned valvetrain is almost as loud as the car with the cat y-pipe. It's hilarious when people look at you w/ that expression like, "WTF is wrong with that pile?"
Just a word of caution... The lovely people didn't tell me this at Isky before I ordered the Red Zone lifters, but if you use these you will experience an oil pressure drop. I'm running 10w-30 right now and can see about a 5psi drop in pressure when the oil gets hot. The reason being is due to the extra oiling holes in the lifters to lubricate the roller bearings at lower rpm since these are designed as a street lifter. Freaked me out at first, but I found out my sending unit was a bit off (going to be installing a mechanical gauge soon to confirm) as well as the normal pressure drop due to the lifters I was seeing much lower than normal pressure.

Welcome to my world and exhaust not fitting.

First my original offroad Y that I ran for about 5 years didn't fit with my Ford 9".. so I traded my entire exhaust setup for a decent X-pipe setup, then THAT wouldn't fit so I had to bust out a sawzall to cut up the xpipe and make it fit (had to make it shorter).. something about the size of the Ford 9" torque arm bracket doesn't get along very nicely w/ exhaust down there.

Congrats on getting up and running, it's a good feeling. Looking forward to seeing numbers out of it.

Speaking of which, my car needs its legs stretched.. I think I'll drive it this evening..

Well I ordered my y-pipe from Thunder Racing. I called Spohn who stated the Hooker y-pipe has been run on many of their customer cars with the T/A and D/S combo with no issues.
Funny, but the arch in the cross brace for the DS loop is getting more scrapped up than my headers ever have since the car is lowered. Gotta love the wagon trails known as Washington DC streets.

So with those lifters whats your hot oil pressure look like 10-15psi?

hell yeah ****er, 10-15psi when hot would freek me out too i'm seeing 25+ at 205degrees

I love the way this thing feels all over the rpm band. There's aboslutely no cam surge. I could chug in 6th gear at 1200rpm w/ no problems. Rush hour, parking lots... it's all gravy. My 847 cam, heads on the stock block wasn't even close to being this driveable.

Actually it's at 20psi at 950rpm idle speed. At 3000rpm it's around 42psi and climbs just fine when the engine sees higher rpm.

20psi isnt all that bad at 950rpm, i see around 30ish or so at 210deg
