SLP shorty header install pics?

SLP shorty header install pics?

Anybody have pictures of them installed? I wanna see what the clearance is on the passenger side. Also do you need more heat sheilding? any help is appreciated.

I got mine. I can email ou some pics. As far as clearance on the passenger side, I don't think there are any headers that have good clearance on that side. They all kinda suck. There just isnt ay room period.

Are you looking for the 96-97 dual cat style or the 93-95 single cat style?

clearance on the passengers side isn't great, but that side was way easier to get in than the drivers side. I had to remove the steering shaft, the valve cover, and the coolant temp sensor (I think thats what it is) to get mine in. The biggest problem clearance wise is the #5 spark plug wire just about touching the header tube. I used Bosch Platinums (the regular ones) on mine because they are a bit shorter than most of the plugs out there, and I haven't had a problem with burning anything yet (also used over the valvecover wires)

no extra heat shielding here, just buy a $2 bag of zip ties and get everything out of the way that looks like it could burn (also watch where you route the wires so you don't push them into the belt by accident...ask me how I know)
