Your car and engine looks great and sounds great. What RPM are you shifting with the GM847 and how much does your car weight with all the weight reduction?

WD

FWI: I shift at 6500 with my XFI-292 cam.

well ion set my shift points at 6900 so well see how long that lasts. And i havent got a chance to weigh my car yet. As for the low end, it feels great imo and i dont DD it so i could tell ya. But when i drive it, it surges a bit when your at low rpms, bascially anything under 2k. My stall is fine too and a lot better when i spray it.

Those won't clear the alternator when it's in the stock location.

I know, I was only answering the question at hand... The original picture of the poster shows the alternator relocated to the bottom...

yea its thoes valve covers. But they were pretty tarnished so i had them sandblasted and sanded them with a 1000grit to give it the raw aluminum look then painted the letters black.

Don't forget the little lady too. Nice looking car. Gotta love the black lens covers on a black car!! How much you spraying, and how much does it increase the stall rating?

Sounds good. I'm building one with an 847 in it, also. BTW, the valve covers are GMPP, made by Proform. They will fit with a stock location alternator IF you "clearance" the back of the alternator a little. Mere's a picture of mine with the same covers.
