Arrow Spark plug recommendation

1) I go to a dealership (that does excellent work) for all of my larger repairs on my 1997 LT1 Z28, and I was planning on going to it for my spark plug change. The only problem is, they recommend a full tune up (plug+wire change, calibrations, etc.) and they want to charge me almost $700. Is that worth it or should I find somewhere else to take her?

2) What spark plugs would you recommend for maximum performance and efficiency?

Thank you

I use the AC-Delco Rapidfire plugs and AC-Delco wires. Perfect for a stock-ish or slightly modded car. DIY for about a $500 savings vs. the dealer. It is not an easy job, but you will learn a lot about your car.

As stated, if a $500 savings is worth you being able to enjoy your weekend take it to the shop. It's definitely a PITA, but obviously it'll be much easier the more times you do it. If I remember correctly you are 17 so, even if it takes you 20 hours, that's $25/hr. I know I didn't make $25/hr when I was 17. I barely make over that now, and I'm 23 with a bachelors degree.

I've been pretty happy with my TR-55's and MSD plug wires.

I have never done anything like this before, and I don't really know anyone close to me that knows how either. Would there be a step by step guide somewhere that matches my car's layout precisely?
