It's easier on the ignition to clear a smaller gap, or requires less energy. However you want to say it.

It makes the plug easier to fire. To me if the system is working then run whatever gap ya want.

if you have a lt1 gap em at .050 no reason to go smaller unless u have nos or power adder..

smaller gap makes less power, so get a msd or ltcc coversion

so if your car is N/A and your running say a, MSD 6AL, gap them at .050 for best results?

If you go to the NGK website, they specify 0.044 for all versions of the TR55.
