Question Sparkplugs Ever heard of these?

Silverstone sparkplugs are specially designed for the unique demands of modern high performance engines. Silver is the best electrical and thermal conductor of any metal making it the ideal material for the center electrode. The larger diameter silver electrode in Silverstone increases spark power by as much as 137%. Silverstone sparkplugs deliver the most powerful spark.

I have heard that these silverstones are the best on the market. I looking to maybe buy a set and try them, but I thought I would see if you guys heard anything negative about them or not. Anyways just wondering what you all think. There made by Nogoly and are on there website....7.50 a piece(ouch) I hope they work good....

Silverstone™:

STOP...
playing around with spark plugs that feature fine wire electrodes, split electrodes, ring electrodes, multiple electrodes, platinum electrodes, copper electrodes, or gold electrodes, and get serious with silver electrodes! Silver is the best electrical and thermal conductor of any metal. This makes Silverstone™ the best spark plugs in the world. Period!

Silver Center Electrode
Up To 137% More Spark Power
Increased Horsepower
Cleaner Combustion
Long Lasting
Race Proven Design
Top Quality Materials

Silverstone spark plugs are especially designed for the unique demands of modern high-performance engines. Silver is the best electrical and thermal conductor of all metals, which makes it the ultimate material for a spark plug's center electrode. The large diameter silver center electrode of Silverstone spark plugs increases spark carrying ability and spark power by as much as 137%. Silver is extremely resistant to erosion, guaranteeing a virtually unchanged electrode gap for the life of the spark plug. Silverstone spark plugs are designed without a suppressor resistor, perfect for performance enthusiasts who demand the most from their engines. For racing or dependability and efficiency for everyday use, Silverstone spark plugs deliver the most powerful spark.

If you're not using Silverstone™, you're not going as fast as you could be.

Above is news to me?
What about gold and platinum?
Sounds like hype to me...

Cool

It's not gold, so it's not the best conductor or offer the least resistance

They said gold is too soft and will melt...cannot use for a sparkplug.
they said Platinum is not a good conductor just a good wear metal for a low cost. that leaves silver as they next best metal for a sparkplug..they last the longest and produce they best spark...Kinda makes sence to me, I guess we try them and find out what happens, maybe it's another good bolt on mod we dont know about yet.....Anyone besides me gonna try them?

The above makes no sense. Platinum = most precious expensive metal on Earth!!! Platinum is not cheap by any means, and I doubt that silver is a better conductor and lasts longer than a platinum plug. This sounds like cleaver marketing bull ****!!!!

They make the best blinker fluid and muffler bearings too. Buy em, hell, 137% more spark you probably don't even need to take em out of the box.

No voodoo necessary here... just look at the electrical conductivity of metals and there you'll find your answer. Enlightenment.

http://www.amm.com/index2.htm?/ref/conduct.HTM

Silver rates very high, platinum very low (15).

I've used the Nology Silverstone plugs and didn't notice any performance difference in comparison to the Champion copper plugs they replaced.
Don't get me wrong, I think they make a good plug and some of their ignition products are as good as anything else out there. Then they market some really gimmicky stuff like that T-Rex thing that's suppose to eliminate exhaust reversion.

A good plug.... just not worth the money IMO.

I thought copper was a better thermal conductor than silver? Nology? Aren't they the makers of Uncle Ben's?

It is.

Copper "Cu"
Silver "Ag"

They are both real close there. Platinum ranks real low.
