splayed cap ??

has anyone had problems with oil pan clearance when using splayed 4 bolt caps? my caps are hitting the sides of my stock oil pan right at the engine block. does anyone know if an aftermarket pan would have more room in this area?

I'm sure the Canton pan clears, but I went slightly cheaper and bought the Milodon 7 qt cap. pan.

Re: splayed cap ??

The part number for the pan is 30902 and the matching pick up tube for the oil pump is 18314 and that tube fits my Melling HV oil pump. I bought mine from the local speed shop, both pieces were about 180 bucks together.
