Squeeking noise from front left? tire?
So driving the car, and amongst the SES light, I also have a squeeking noise from the front, believe the passenger tire/wheel area.
Under 25mph I can hear it, the faster I go the faster the squeek goes, lounder if turning. When I step on the brakes, either hard or soft, it goes away during breaking, then back on.
Any ideas?

Time for a brake job!!HEHE. You got a warped rotor on that side. It's caused when the rotor warps then causes uneven wear on the pads.So when your foots off the brake part of the pad is still touching and causin the sqeak. I'd just replace the front rotors and pads(maybe rebuild the calipers). It's not hard and plz don't have someone like midas or mieneke do it fo u. You'll save your self like 200+ in labor and can put some better rotors and pads on there that will resist warping more.Hope i helped.

Eh, just what I thought.....I didnt know that it would be rotor, on the rear, changed the rotors and pads a few months back, car stops fairly damn well, even now......
So What type of rotors pads to go with?
Any suggestions?
As for hte rotors, slotted? drilled?

Yeah I have the same problem. My front left brake is ****ed. Thats why I'm doing the C5 brake conversion first thing next year when the car comes out again.
Hawk pads are supposed to be pretty good. Depends on how good of braking performance you're going for and how much brake dust you want to deal with. The best rotor to go with is your regular old non slotted, no drilled blank rotor. There have been many discussions and a long thread in the advanced tech section on why slotted and drilled rotors do not perform better than blank rotors.
