Stall or cam

Re: Stall or cam
That's a shim problem, not a rotor or caliper design problem. Mine, and a friends 2002, sweeps uniformly......with standard LS calipers..

Re: Stall or cam
I'm using stock uprights from a 2002 trans am, stock caliper brackets and stock caliper...I had the calipers powder coated red and rebuilt them, bolted my stock wheel bearing/hub assembly to it and haven't had a bit of problems since....

Re: Stall or cam
Just an update here. I've have made the choice to go hot cam and 3600 stall and im seeing if I can budget a used 12 bolt at the same time. ( after seeing a friends car wipe out his spider gears last weekend at the track, car makes about the same power as mine)
After getting some install prices from local and not local guys I decided ( well Ive become really possive over my car lately ) im doing the work my self. I cant trust anybody lol I found a garage I can rent for $200 a month. ( lowest estimate on a cam install was $700) So you can see where I getting the money to rent a space. PLus I can do side work out of the garage ( mostly detailing and glass painting) So its a win all over the board
