Starter Button Under the Hood (how to)
Anyone have an easy way to put a button under the hood to crank the starter, like to use when trouble shooting the engine. If you want it to start the engine, you would still need to turn the key on.
Thanks

A momentary switch wired to provide 12V to the small terminal on the solenoid would do the trick. You can pick up the switch just about anywhere they sell electrical stuff...

You can buy a momentary switch with extended wires and alligator clips, specifically for that purpose.
