Starting the car in the morning

Usuallly in the morning
i go put the key in and try to start the car and everything shuts off,
then after about 10 sec's eveerything turns on and im able to start the car?
any idea??
usually only happens in the morning for the last 2 nights
i did a cam swap a few days ago but it started w/ no problems after that...
any help would be great..

'splain more about "everything shuts off". How about headlights?

all the dash lights, headlights, all the power stuff is off
i should check the connection on my battery i guess...
