Pickup the latest issue of GMHTP. It has a full write-up on the Racetronix F-LT1 installation.

Which reacetronix pump is needed to support a 396 with new heads/cam?

Is it the 160 dollar kit or do I need a bigger one?

Racetronix's kit is by far superior in quality and installation ease.

I can speak personally of Racetronix's construction quality and painstaking installation manuals.

Jack supports his customers very well.

my question is why are there alot of parts laying around .....i helped my friend do his and it took us 30 min tops ....you didnt drop the tank i hope ....we cut out a squar piece from the back of the hatch part and blam the cap of the tank was right there....just some little tricks that lt1 owners know about....if you want the measurements on where to cut the squar out for the future pm me and i can give them to you.....

The one for $159.99 is fine for a 396 N/A motor. P/N RX-FLT1-FPA

Jack at Racetronix has a solid kit, and he is a stand up guy. I will never buy another fuel (or engine management) part from anyone else. I've recommended him to half a dozen friends and will not stop. I had one experience and he took care fo me. Not only that, but his products are nice. DO IT ONCE, AND DO IT RIGHT. Racetronix .

Time to "ttt" my thread of my experience .

OK guys, so I am putting together the finishing touches on an LT1 that is going into an 86 IROC. How do I know if I need to get an upgraded fuel pump? At what point does the stock one not cut the mustard?

My build up has the following mods to the LT1:
LT4 intake, AFR 195cc heads, Comp 503, 383 with 6" rods
