Ok so it was the air pump fuse and I changed the fuse, well the thing keeps blowing fuses like crazy. Is their anyway I can stop this thing from blowing fuses like crazy?

You should check for shorts and grounds around the air pump.
I'd remove the whole AIR system, though.

What year car do you have? There is a recall on 95-97 for the AIR pump. That's what's blowing your fuses.

Well is it really cold out lately? MY CAR WILL ONLY BLOW THE AIR PUMP FUSE WHEN ITS BELOW FREEZING OUT, weird but true, I dont even replace the damn fuse no more, I just keep my eye pasted on the temp gauge. might be the same for you, and yes it would pop every single morning and still does, we had a week 2 weeks ago where it was 40 in the am for 3 days, NEVER POPPED A FUSE, next day its 0 out and POP goes the fuse SES on, 3 codes, the po412 and p1361 p1362 i think ? I wouldnt worry IF ITS COLD IN YOUR AREA if not Im dumb....

I don't think the law will allow them to leave it off. If you don't want it on, don't take it in, just remove it yourself.

If it only blows the fuse when it is cold out, could be that there is excessive moisture in the pump. It could be freezing up, preventing the pump from turning = blown fuse. It is very easy for moisture to build up in the pump if you have leaking check valves in the system. And that moisture is what rots the pump and its bearings and causes it to bind, blowing fuses.

The easy way to temporarily solve the problem is to pull the harness connector off the pump, then put a new fuse in. With OBD-I, that will prevent a code and an SES light (not the case with OBD-II).

Then check the pump for corrosion, check the valve for leaks.

When your SES light comes on, does both of your fans kick in the same time as well?

Yes, the fans are programmed to come on with the SES light.

Well should I just disconnect the air pump or pull it out? I was reading and form what I can tell the air pump work with the CAT Well I have no CAT so I guess I don't need the air pump anyway.
