Question Still Smoking!

Took the car to a dealer for warrenty work. They said that the car needed a intakemanifold gasket. Replaced it along with plugs and wires. What a PITA. But the car is still smoking, but only after i start it up and drive it about a mile. If I pull up to a red light Im depressed sounds good but smoking her butt off. Need help please!

The type of smoke could help determine the problem. Also, is water in the oil or oil in the water? Do you see bubbles in the coolant? Have you done a coolant pressure test or a leak down test yet?

Welcome to the board from someone right around the corner in Hampton

Havent seen any oil in the water or water in the oil. I havent seen any bubbles either. havent pressure tested it. its blowing blue smoke from under the hood and out of the exhaust there is also oil coming from the exhaust.
thanks for the welcome.

A visual on the plugs and a leak down test is in order now. Chances are good it's intake gasket time.

Did you take my advice to check all the coolant hoses 10x? I had the same problem even after replacing the intake mani gasket. Turned out to be an incorrectly routed hose.

That may be the problem but i dont think it is. everything fit perfectly in place. When i repleced the gasket i had two clean intake ports, #1 and #6 clean as a whistle all the rest looked burnt. i heard a recommendstion that my heads could have been milled and the intake isnt sitting flush something about a thick-thin gasket

Well lots of the hoses are the same sizes, I think i had a coolant hose going into the air box. The coolant wasnt going through the engine, just feeding into the exhaust manifold. Just trying to give you some more options before you do a major rebuild.
