Stock F-Car LT1 RWHP numbers

thats 300 wtq, not hp. hp was 258.48. strong runner, thats for sure. do you have track times on it?

I would "guestimate" that the 93-95's would be:
275hp (claimed) - 18%/20% (parasitic drivetrain loss) = 225.5(18% loss)/220 (20% loss) RWHP
..and that 96-97's would be:
285 (claimed) - 18%/20% (parasitic loss once again) = 233.7(18% loss) -228(20% loss) RWHP
98+
305 (claimed) - 18%/20% = 250.1 RWHP/244 RWHP
Of course these would be guestimates on "stock" or "non-SS" cars with no mods.
My 2 pennies for ya,
Ivan

I never did run it at the track stock and when I ran it with just a CAI, I was still learning how to drive at the track. Spun the tires more than anything.

Not stock but when my car had a Flowmaster muffler, a SLP CAI, and a 2800 converter it dynoed 262/292... if I remember correctly that was with like 20% converter slip. Then the same day on a NX Wet 100 shot dynoed 364/430.
I remember watching horse power tv a long time ago, probably about 6 or so years ago, and the got a hold of a bone stock automatic '94 Z28 to throw some bolt-ons on and see what it did. They did a base line dyno and the car dynoed 225rwhp and I don't remember exactly what the torque was, I think it was something like 255rwtq.

I got 294 on my full bolt on car through an auto. This was on a shotty dynojet at the local community college that my 97 jeep cherokee laid down 143 rwhp on a 33 inch tire So given the classic nature of the dyno and the sweet noises the bitch made im gonna have to say it wasnt spot on.

well not exactly stock
At 70k plus with HPP Holley 52mm tb borlas catback my 97 m6 ws6 made 291hp and 328 pounds torque. Then when took the HPP off I made 280 exactly just what HPP claimed 10 hp increase. Then at exactly 82k I put longtube headears tune and no cats, 308hp 338 pounds of torque. Now I have new opti 1.6 gm roller rockers and new water pump, im saying guessing 318 320 to wheels.

There are almost too many variables here to accurately compare power numbers. The biggest one I see is what kind of dyno is used. Dynojets always read higher than Mustangs. We have a Mustang dyno at work, and my car put down 261 hp and 280 ft-lbs torque with LT headers, air intake, and tuning. The other thing to keep in mind is that the factory ratings are FLYWHEEL horsepower, not REAR WHEEL horsepower. 93s are rated at 265 fwhp, which would be somewhere around 220-230 rwhp stock.

My 94 made 260 rwhp on a dynojet, bone stock. It ran 13.8 @ 101 in SC heat in the summer at a raceweight of 3750. It made 300 RWHP on the same dynojet (different day) with Hooker LTs and a CAI. It ran a low 13 @ 106 same conditions and weight.
FWIW, when the car was an auto, it went 14.3 @ 97. That auto sucked up a good bit of power, and 2.73s were poo.
